Kibabii University and Bukura Agricultural College Sign a Collaborative Agreement

Kibabii University has entered into a partnership with Bukura Agricultural College (BAC) following the signing of a Collaborative Agreement on Tuesday, 11th March, 2025. The Agreement aims to foster joint research and academic exchange for faculty and students pursuing Agricultural studies. The initiative is spearheaded by the Department of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences.

Speaking during the signing Ceremony, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Ipara Odeo, emphasized the significance of the collaboration in enhancing research and academic opportunities in Agriculture. He lauded BAC for its outstanding contribution to the agricultural sector.

“Bukura Agricultural College has consistently produced top-tier professionals in agriculture. This partnership presents a valuable opportunity to strengthen our human resource capacity and improve academic excellence in the field,” he noted.

On his part, BAC Principal, Mr. Paul Njogu, expressed optimism about the partnership, highlighting its potential to provide a seamless academic progression for BAC’s Diploma graduates to further their studies at Kibabii University.

As part of the collaboration, Prof. Odeo extended an invitation to BAC staff to participate in Kibabii University’s upcoming International Conference scheduled for June 2025.

The Ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and Student Affairs), Prof. Joshua Ogendo, and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Planning, Partnerships, Research, and Innovation), Prof. Julius Maiyo, alongside other faculty members.
